Hair Transplantation

Hair Transplant is a surgical procedure in which healthy hair follicles are transplanted to regions of thinning or balding (usually the crown and the front). These donor follicles keep producing new hair for the rest of the patient's life after the transplant.

As the new hair is constantly being produced, the loss of up to 100 hairs every day may go unnoticed. However, if the hair follicles are damaged, the scalp may thin or grow bald over time. Hair Transplant can be done in both men and women who are suffering hair loss and would want to restore a healthy, thick head of hair. The patient undergoing this procedure should have a healthy body and mind and should have sufficient hair in the donor regions on the back and sides of the head for grafting.
